Claflin College in Orangeburg, SC is home of The Institute of Teaching and Nursing (TITAN). The curriculum of this Institute focuses on teaching and nursing and specifically the goals are to:

• Connect current and future students to industry leaders in these fields.
• Create educational opportunities and initiatives through seminars, webinars, and industry related summits.
• Bridge the gap between students, community, and industry leaders through research, seminars, webinars, internships, co-ops, part or full-time employment, etc.
• Host local, regional, national and international conferences to assist both students and businesses in identifying and hiring workers.
